With only a few opportunities to qualify for the 2008 NAIA National Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Edwardsville, IL, senior Anna Miller of Blue Rapids, KS, took advantage of the good weather and surpassed the NAIA "A" Standard in the discus at the Swede Last Chance Twilight at Anderson Track & Field Complex on May 8, 2008.

Nine members of the softball team earned KCAC honors for their efforts during the 2008 season.

The Swedes finished the regular season 12-4 in conference play, 24-15. The team earned an at-large bid to play in the NAIA Region IV Tournament to be held in McPherson this week.
