Austin Evans, Aurora, Colo., has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Bethany College for the 2010-2011 academic year.  

Evans is a 5'11" 155 lb. point guard from Cherokee Trail High School. There he was a three-year starter for the Cougars, earning first team all-league honors and all-city honorable mention honors. Evans, a three-time varsity letterwinner, averaged 15 ppg. and four rebounds per game. He shot 56 percent from the field, 71 percent from the line and 44 percent from beyond the arc. During his career at Cherokee Trail, Evans' three-point percent was 47 percent, the best in school history.

Off the court Evans earned all-state academic honors and was named the 2010 Outstanding Business Student.
