Bethany Head Men's Basketball Coach Clair Oleen said he is pleased to have Ahlvers coming to Bethany. "Wade is a tremendous student and a super young man from a great family," He added that Ahlvers is a great fit for Bethany basketball. "He has experience in the triangle offense and his skills fit the way we play the game," Oleen said.
Ahlvers is the son of Keith and Patty Ahlvers. He has a 3.9 high school GPA. At Bethany he plans to study in the college pre-physical therapy program.
