Taylor Rall, Hoxie, Kan., has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Bethany College for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Rall is a 5'11" 165 lb. point guard from Hoxie High School. There he was a three-year starter, earning all-state and all-league honorable mention honors. He earned first team all-league honors his senior season. During his final year at Hoxie, Rall averaged 18.8 ppg., 3.3 rpg., .3 blocks, 2.3 steals and 3.2 assists. He shot 62 percent from the field.

Rall also was a two-year starting quarterback earning all-league honors both years. He also played golf three years, participating in the state tournament each year.

Bethany basketball coach Clair Oleen said he is pleased that Rall chose to continue his education and basketball career at Bethany. "Taylor is a fine young man and a good student," Oleen said.

Rall is the son of David and Sandy Rall. He has a 3.4 high school GPA. At Bethany he plans to study in the college's pre-veterinary program.
