Recent Bethany graduate, Aaron Larsen, Fallbrook, Calif., has been drafted by the Oakland A's in the 34th round of the Major League Baseball draft.     
Larsen, a starting pitcher for the Swedes, earned second team all-KCAC honors both as a pitcher and at short stop. He also was named to the KCAC Gold Glove team as a short stop.

During the Swedes 2010 campaign, Larsen had a 3.25 ERA with 62 strikeouts in 13 games pitched.
 
At the plate Larsen had a .326 batting average with 31 runs and 24 RBIs. He was two for two in steals. At short stop, Larsen had 56 putouts and 121 assists.
 
The Swedes were KCAC tournament runners-up after entering the tournament as the fifth seed. The team finished the season 12-12 in conference play, 26-30 overall.
