Tateme Babi, Bennett, Colo., has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Bethany College for the 2010-2011 academic year.
 
Babi is a 5'6" setter from Bennett High School.
There she was a three-year letterwinner, earning first team honors and all-conference honorable mention honors. While at Bennett High, Babi had 25 kills, 194 digs, 692 assists and 59 service aces.
 
"Tateme brings additional experience at the setting position and we look forward to watching her continue to develop as a setter," said head coach Nathalea Stephenson.
 
Babi also was a two-time letterwinner in track and field and three-year letterwinner in basketball. She also played soccer her junior year.
 
With a 4.0 GPA, not only did Babi earn all-state academic honors, but was also Valedictorian of her class.
 
Babi is the daughter of Michael and Korrie Babi. At Bethany she plans to study biology.
