Shane Hart, Berthoud, Colo., has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Bethany College for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Hart is a a 6'2" 170 lb. shooting guard from Berthoud High School.
There he twice earned all-conference honorable mention honors, as well as all-area first team honors his senior season. Hart averaged 15.5 ppg., 4.9 rpg., 1.1 steals and 2.1 assists. He shot 49 percent from the field, 84 percent from the line and 34 percent from the three-point range.

Bethany Head Basketball Coach, Clair Oleen, said he is pleased to have Hart choose Bethany. "Shane is a fine young man from a super family," Oleen said, added he looks forward to having him develop and grow in the basketball program. "Shane is a long guard whose best basketball years are ahead of him," Oleen continued.

Hart also competed in track and field at Berthoud High.

Hart is the son of Gary and Tohnni Hart. At Bethany he plans to study physical education.
