Jamie Franco, Willcox, Ariz., has signed a letter of intent to play softball at Bethany College for the 2010-2011 academic year.


Franco is a first base transfer from Eastern Arizona College where she played two seasons. Prior to Eastern, Franco was a four-year varsity starter at Willcox High School. She had 28 RBI's, four home runs and a .352 on-base percent.

Franco was honored by Who's Who Among America's College Students and was active in Phi Theta Kappa.

Franco is the daughter of Joseph and Delia Franco. She has a 3.7 GPA. At Bethany she plans to study pre-physical therapy.
