Four Bethany College baseball players earned NAIA Region IV Honors for their efforts during the 2007 spring season. The Swedes finished the season KCAC Champions and NAIA Region IV Runners-up with a conference record of 18-6, 36-16 overall.
Bethany senior Shaun Ravenscraft, Muscatine, Iowa, was named 2007 NAIA Region IV Player of the Year. He also was named to the Region IV first team as a pitcher and third baseman. In addition, Ravenscraft was named to the 2007 Rawlings-NAIA Region IV Gold Glove Team, which honors the regions best defensive players.

Ravenscraft was ranked second in the NAIA in hits allowed per game (4.55). He had a .419 batting avg. with 20 RBIs.

Andy Spirek, a senior outfielder from Grand Junction, Colo., earned first team honors. He had a .370 batting avg. with 29 RBIs.

Joel Sundquist, a sophomore catcher from Riverton, Utah, earned first team honors. He had a .430 batting avg. with 37 RBIs. He ranked 25th in the NAIA in batting average.
Phil Kueber, a junior relief pitcher from British Columbia, Canada, earned first team honors. He had a 1.74 ERA and ranked 21st in the NAIA in saves (7).
Baseball at Bethany has had many successes in recent years. Since 2000, the team has been nationally ranked in the NAIA, has won three KCAC championships, two KCAC tournament championships and has made three appearances at the NAIA Region IV tournament. Head coach Matt Tramel has been named KCAC Baseball Coach of the Year three of his four seasons at Bethany.

Bethany College competes in 15 intercollegiate sports in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.  Since 1902, Bethany has won 140 conference championships.
