Kelli Noonan, a junior from Salina, Kan., earned NAIA Region IV first team honors for her efforts during the 2007 spring season. The softball Swedes made it to the NAIA Region IV Tournament, ending their season 8-8 in conference play and 25-23 overall. Noonan also earned first team KCAC honors.
Noonan had a .394 batting average with 21 RBIs.
The Bethany softball Swedes have finished in the top four in the KCAC in 2005 and 2006, earning them appearances in the KCAC post-season tournaments both years. Each year numerous Softball Swedes earn KCAC and NAIA honors and are consistently named conference and regional players of the week.
Bethany College competes in 15 intercollegiate sports in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Since 1902, Bethany has won 140 conference championships.
