Hollind Englert, freshman from Castle Rock, Colo., has been named the KCAC Pitcher of the Week.

In a 3-0 win at Ottawa University on April 13, Englert pitched seven innings and allowed only three hits and no runs. She also had two strikeouts. At Southwestern College on April 16, Englert pitched seven innings and allowed seven hits and one run and had five strikeouts. She has been instrumental in the Swedes 9-1 conference record.

Head Softball Coach Janice Esses says, "Hollind has really come in to her own. She has improved on her accuracy and has calmed her nerves down to where she is really playing good ball for us right now. She has also earned a spot in the lineup with her hitting and is someone that is a lot of fun to watch."

Englert is the daughter of Kevin and Regina Englert and is majoring in biology.
