Cheer Squad

The Bethany College Cheer Squad received Superior Ratings on Final Day Evaluation at NCA College Camp. The camp was held August 1-3, 2007 at Kansas State University for three days of technique and skills training, evaluations and competition.

Both the Bethany cheer and dance teams earned a Spirit Stick during camp and a Superior Blue Ribbon on final day team routine evaluations. For the second year in a row, the co-ed cheer squad earned a bid to NCA College Nationals at Daytona Beach in April 2008. The cheer squad placed fourth overall and third of co-ed teams in the Intermediate division.
Other cheer squads (co-ed and all girl) that attended were Kansas State University, Wichita State University, Texas Tech University, Barton County Community College, Fort Hays State University, Butler County Community College, St. Cloud State University, Hutchinson Community College, North Carolina State University, Allen County Community College, Iowa State University, Oral Roberts University, and other out of state teams.
