Theresa Read, a junior from Centennial, Colo., has been named the KCAC Setter of the Week.

Read earns this honor after compiling 59 assists, averaging 9.83 per game. She also provided the Swedes with 20 digs during the two matches played this week. Bethany went one and one on the week, winning at Southwestern College and losing at home to Tabor College.

Head Volleyball Coach Nathalea Stephenson says, "Theresa has worked very hard this year not only as a setter but as an all around player. Her focus is on helping the team get better each and every time we take the court.  This is not only a great honor for her but she would be the first to say for the team as well."

Read is the daughter of Kendall and Dena Read and is majoring in psychology.
