Trevor Kistler, Mansfield, Texas, has signed a letter of intent to play men's soccer at Bethany College for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Kistler, a forward, comes to Bethany from Mansfield High School, where he played soccer as a three-year starter. He earned All-District Second-Team and Team Offensive Most Valuable Player honors. He also was named to the 2012 All-State Tournament Team.
Kistler has a 3.83 grade point average. He earned Academic All-District honors in 2011 and Academic All-State honors in 2012.
Head Men's Soccer Coach Kevin Megli says, "Trevor has the potential to be an immediate impact player for us next year. He is the type of player that won't quit until he accomplishes his goal."
Kistler is the son of Arthur Kistler and Jennifer Dopson and plans to major in athletic training.
