MARION, Ind. - (Schedule) (Live Scoring) The NAIA Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships will get underway on Thursday and last through Saturday in Marion, Ind. The event is being hosted on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University for the third-consecutive year. The men are competing in the 61st annual national championships and the women are highlighted in their 32nd annual event.
The Bethany College Swedes are being represented by Ira Autrey, Lisa Faimon, Courtney Gallardo and Johannes Riemann.
Autrey is a senior from Houston, Texas, who will be competing in the long jump. Autrey competed at the KCAC Championships on May 3 placing third and achieving his season best with a jump of 7.23m qualifying him for Nationals.
Faimon is a senior from Stratton, Neb., and will compete in the high jump. Faimon competed at the KCAC Championships and jumped her way to an automatic bid to the National Championships with a height of 1.68m.
Gallardo is a senior from Pueblo, Colo., and will compete in the long jump. Gallardo also jumped her way to an automatic bid to nationals with a B standard with a jump of 5.50m.
Riemann is a freshman from Osnabrueck, Germany, and will compete in the 110m hurdles. Riemann placed second at the KCAC Championships with a time of 15:07 earning him a trip to Nationals.

Over 1,000 student-athletes from all over the country and Canada will be taking part in sprints, distance races, throws and jumps. The event begins with women's field events at 10 a.m. EDT and then the men's decathlon at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
