Kayo Vaz, Fortaleza Ceara, Brazil, has signed a letter of intent to play men's soccer at Bethany College for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Vaz comes to Bethany from Colegio Juvenal de Carvalho High School, where he played soccer as a goalkeeper.

Head Men's Soccer Coach Kevin Megli says, "Kayo is an athletic goalkeeper, with quick footwork and good hands. He has the ability to make big saves in the big games."

Vaz is the son of Jobson Melo Vaz and Fatima Maria Ferreira de Paulo and plans to major in physical health and wellness with a minor in coaching.
