Bethany College is pleased to announce the Winter-Spring 2012 KCAC Scholar-Athletes.

Student-athletes must have sophomore standing at the start of the sport season, maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.33 on a 4.0 scale, and letter in their sport.

Representing baseball are Eric Brown, Topeka, Kan.; John Gandy, Olathe, Kan.; Adam Hutchison, Russell, Kan.; and Michael Ziegler, Bennington, Kan.

	Brown is the son of Robin Brown. He has a 3.56 grade point average and is majoring in athletic training.
	Gandy is the son of Ken and Connie Gandy.  He has a 3.8 grade point average and is majoring in sports management.
	Hutchison is the son of Brad and Cheryl Hutchison. He has a 3.69 grade point average and is majoring in biology.
	Ziegler is the son of Marc and Casey Ziegler. He has a 3.75 grade point average and is majoring in biology.

Representing men's basketball are Jason Mihalcin, Arvada, Colo., and Haydon Parks, Osage City, Kan.

	Mihalcin is the son of Michael and Janet Mihalcin. He has a 3.6 grade point average and is majoring in chemistry.
	Parks is the son of Duane and Christine Parks. He has a 3.4 grade point average and is majoring in health and physical education.

Representing men's golf are Tyler Maydew, Longmont, Colo., and Adam Weishaar, Salina, Kan.

	Maydew is the son of Michael and Julie Maydew. He has a 3.66 grade point average and is majoring in business management.
	Weishaar is the son of Jeff and Debbie Weishaar. He has a 3.75 grade point average and is majoring in business and economics.

Representing softball are Brittany Lewis, Glendale, Ariz., and Kelli Traffas, Medicine Lodge, Kan.

	Lewis is the daughter of Randal and Helyn Lewis. She has a 3.8 grade point average and is majoring in elementary education.
	Traffas is the daughter of Rory and Jacqueline Traffas. She has a 3.4 grade point average and is majoring in accounting.

	Casey is the daughter of Jay and Valerie Casey. She has a 3.8 grade point average and is majoring in biology.
	DeLong is the daughter of Darryl and Breiana DeLong. She has a 4.0 grade point average and is majoring in art teaching.

	Bieker is the son of Larry and Susan Bieker. He has a 3.75 grade point average and is majoring in biology.
	Metcalfe is the son of Julie Metcalfe. He has a 3.80 grade point average and is majoring in criminal justice.

Representing women's track and field are Kaitlyn Davis, Hill City, Kan.; Lisa Faimon,  Stratton, Neb.; Courtney Gallardo,  Pueblo, Colo.; Molly McElgunn, Lindsborg, Kan.; Joanna Roberts, Lindsborg, Kan.; and Shane Valdez, Moscow, Kan. 

	Davis is the daughter of Carl and Julie Davis. She has a 4.0 grade point average and is majoring in health and physical education.
	Faimon is the daughter of Tom and Teri Faimon, She has a 3.77 grade point average and is majoring in elementary education.
	Gallardo is the daughter of Felix Gallardo and Kandace O'Dorisio. She has a 4.0 grade point average and is majoring in psychology.
	McElgunn is the daughter of Brian and Nancy McElgunn. She has a 4.0 grade point average and is majoring in accounting and finance.
	Roberts is the daughter of Ralph and Martha Roberts. She has a 3.39 grade point average and is majoring in music liberal arts.
	Valdez is the daughter of Marcie Valdez. She has a 4.0 grade point average and is majoring in health and physical education.
