Jonathan Suda, Placentia, Calif., has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Bethany College for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Suda is transferring to Bethany from Bakersfield College, where he played baseball for two years. In his sophomore year, he earned second-team all-conference honors. Prior to college, Suda attended El Dorado High School, where he played baseball for three years as a second and third baseman. His senior year he earned all-league honors.

Head Baseball Coach Jeremy Cantrell says, "Jon is going to be a high-energy ballplayer who is going to help us out in a lot of different areas. He is also a good student who should be focused on succeeding in the classroom as well."

Suda is the son of George and Cindy Suda and is planning to major in criminal justice.
