Larry McLin, Colorado Springs, Colo., has signed a letter of intent to play men's basketball at Bethany College for the 2012-2013 academic year.
McLin, a six-foot-one guard, comes to Bethany from Mitchell High School, where he played basketball all four years. He earned honorable mention all-league honors and was named Junior Player of the Year and Senior Player of the Year. McLin averaged 15.3 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per game. He had a 42% field goal percentage and 88% free throw percentage.
Head Men's Basketball Coach Clair Oleen says, "We are excited to have Larry McLin continuing his education at Bethany College and join Bethany basketball. Larry is a very long, athletic, and quick guard. He is a combo guard who can shoot, drive, pass, rebound and can really guard the ball and get into the passing lanes. We feel Larry is going to be a nice player at Bethany."
McLin is the son of Larry McLin Sr. and Tijuana McLin. He plans to major in business management.
