The Bethany College men's soccer team was picked to finish sixth and the women's team seventh in the KCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The poll was conducted at the Sixth Annual KCAC Sport Management Conference hosted by Ottawa University.

Men's Head Coach Kevin Megli and Women's Head Coach Sean McMannis both enter their second seasons at Bethany. The men's team ended their season last year at 2-7 in the KCAC and the women ended with a 1-8 KCAC record.

The soccer teams begin their 2012 seasons at home on Aug. 28 versus Manhattan Christian College. Women's game time is 5 p.m. and the men follow at 7:30 p.m.
