The Bethany College men's soccer team is 0-3 so far this season.

On Aug. 28 the team opened their season with a 0-3 loss to Manhattan Christian College before losing to Oklahoma Baptist University 0-2.

Versus MCC, the Swedes had 10 total shots with six shots on goal.

Junior keeper Jackson McClure, Lawrence, Kan., allowed one goal and had one save while Bruce Rowe, a senior from Fresno, Calif., allowed two goals with six saves.

Versus OBU, Bethany had eight total shots with four shots on goal while Oklahoma Baptist had 30 total shots and 20 shots on goal.

Bethany keeper Kayo Vaz allowed two goals and had 16 saves.

The team hit the road on Sept. 4 to face Central Christian College in McPherson, losing 1-5. Bethany's Lucas Procopio, a sophomore from Fortaleza Ceara, Brazil, had the lone score.

The Swedes had 17 total shots and seven shots on goal.

Vaz allowed five goals with seven saves on the night.

Bethany takes on Mid America Christian Sept. 11. The team then plays University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma on Sept. 21 and Oklahoma Wesleyan University on Sept. 22 before returning to their home field Sept. 27 to host Central Methodist College.
