The Bethany College volleyball Swedes dropped four matches this week, bringing their record to 2-3 in the KCAC and 3-10 overall.

On Sept. 19 the team hosted Friends University. Bethany lost in three, 18-25, 23-25 and 11-25.

The Swedes then headed to Denver to play in the Johnson and Wales tournament.

Bethany first faced Fort Hays State University, losing again in three on Sept. 21.

On Sept. 22 the team play Embry Riddle, losing 18-25, 16-25 and 22-25 before losing in three to tournament-host JWU. The Swedes fought hard against Johnson and Wales, narrowly losing 23-25, 26-28 and 14-25.

The Swedes hit the road Sept. 24 to play Tabor College. Bethany will play York College at 7 p.m. Sept. 27 before taking on Bethel College at 2 p.m. on Sept. 29.
