The Bethany College men's soccer team captured their second conference win last week by defeating Southwestern College.
On Oct. 10 the Swedes shutout the ‘Builders 4-0 to improve to 2-0-1 in the KCAC and 2-7-1 overall.
The Swedes tallied 25 total shots with 18 shots on goal. SWC managed 13 total shots with seven shots on goal.
With scores for Bethany were Lucas Procopio with two and Lewis Collins and Marcus Wolfenbarger with one each.
Keeper Kayo Vaz had seven saves on the night.
On Oct. 13 the team lost 1-5 to nationally-ranked Kansas Wesleyan University.
The Swedes had seven total shots and three shots on goal while KWU had 22 total shots and 14 SOG.
Vaz had nine saves.
Bethany next travels to Wichita to take on Friends University at 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 17 before hosting Tabor College Oct. 20 for a 7:30 p.m. game.
