The Bethany College volleyball team honored their favorite professors at the volleyball game versus McPherson College on Oct. 10. The professors came to center court and were greeted by their player with a treat mug.

Every year each member of the team picks a professor to show their appreciation. These professors spend countless hours preparing for class and giving their time when students need help on assignments and understanding the material. 

Head Volleyball Coach Nathalea Stephenson says, "It is one of many qualities that Bethany College has–having professors who care about their students and who are willing to make time for them. They know you by your first name and not by a number. As athletes, they come to watch us play and are always interested in how we do. When we have recruits come for visits the current players always say that our professors are some of the best around because they work with you and really care about you."
