With weather conditions in the upper 50's, Bethany College hosted an extra meet on February 19, 2008, for any teams wanting to take advantage of the warmer weather.  Since Hutchinson Community College was the only team to bring athletes, the two teams competed in the Bethany-Hutch Dual with events being contested in the shot put, the indoor weight, pole vault, and the 200m dash.

Event winners for Bethany College were sophomore Michelle Baltimore of Yuma, AZ, in the women's shot put (38-10.50), senior Anna Miller of Blue Rapids, KS, in the women's indoor weight (49-06.50), and senior Caleb Svaty of Kanopolis, KS, in the men's indoor weight (57-00.00).

 

On February 23, the Swedes will host the Bethany Indoor Last Chance Meet in Stroble-Gibson Gymnasium and Anderson Track & Field Complex.
