Whitman shot 43.9 percent from the field and 68.6 percent from the line. She averaged 11 points per game, was ranked eighth in the conference in steals, with 1.57 per game and ranked fourth in the conference in assists, with 3.39 per game.

 

The women's basketball team began the season with a three-game winning streak. Their overall record remained above the .500 mark through the end of January. The team finished the season 11-18 overall with a 5-13 conference record.
