In their opening tournament of the spring, the Swede golf team placed first at the Swede Spring Invitational held March 10-11.

Bethany's Kevin Walters, junior, Gilbert, Ariz., finished first individually with an overall score of 141.
Chris Reinhart, junior, Kitchener, Canada; and Ian Anthony, senior, Euless, Texas; finished in the tournament top 10 at 4th and 6th, respectively.
The team next travels to Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan. March 24-25.
