On March 11, 2008, Nadia Armbruster, a distance runner from Smoky Valley High School in Lindsborg, KS, signed letters of intent with the Bethany College Cross Country/Track & Field teams becoming the 2nd member of the women's 2008 cross country team and the 5th member of the track & field team.  She is the daughter of George and Cristina Armbruster and plans on majoring in Biology at Bethany.

 
Armbruster has been a varsity distance runner on the cross country team that won the past 4 MCAA League Championships and on the track & field team for three years helping her team to the MCAA League Championship last season.  She owns personal records of 13:17 in the 3200m run and 6:11 in the 1600m run.
 
During her high school career, she has been a member of National Honor Society by maintaining a 3.7 GPA and has attended Kansas Girls State.
