On March 19-20, 2008, the Swede Invite was held at Anderson Track & Field Complex as freshman Danielle Garman of Lincoln, KS, competed in the first heptathlon of her career.  Garman did not receive a score as she was held out of the final event as a precautionary measure because of an injury.  She will be competing at the Bethany College Multi-Event on March 25-26.  The heptathlon consists of the 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, and 200m dash on the first day, and the long jump, javelin, and 800m run on the second day.
