Head Coach Greg Mittelsteadt announced today that juniors Roni Whitman and RaChelle Gaylord were selected to serve as team captains for the Bethany women's basketball team next season.   

Whitman, a native of Peetz, CO, was a Honorable Mention KCAC All-Conference selection for the 2008-2009 season.  She led the Swedes in scoring, assists, and steals and ranked fourth in the KCAC in assists and eighth in steals. 

Gaylord, from Easton, MO, averaged 7 points and 5 rebounds per game for the Swedes and shot 50% from the field to lead the team in that category.
