Holly Finkbeiner, senior pitcher from Russell, Kan., was named KCAC Pitcher of the Week for week two.

 

The Swedes faced Tabor College in a doubleheader last week, sweeping the Bluejays 5-0 and 9-1. Finkbeiner pitched a no-hitter in the Swede's shutout. During the 5-0 victory, Finkbeiner had nine strike outs and one walk.

 

The Swedes are 13-3 on the season and remain undefeated in conference play. The team next faces the Braves of Ottawa Thursday on their home field.
