The Bethany Swedes women's soccer team has signed another recruit to their already strong recruiting class for 2008. Elizabeth Rose of Arlington, TX, signed with the Swedes on Friday, March 28th, and is the 7th recruit to sign so far this year.
"We've been working on Liz to sign for quite some time now, so I'm glad that we finally got her locked in," states Coach Steve Moore. "Liz is primarily a defender, and while we do have a couple other recruits who could play there, signing Liz is really going to give us depth on the back line...something we haven't been blessed with as of yet."
Rose played her prep soccer at Juan Seguin High School in Arlington, TX, playing soccer for 4 years, as well as running cross country for 3 years. She was selected as a 2nd Team All-District performer her junior year, 1st team All-District her senior year, and was also named a team captain.
Rose is the daughter of Natalie and Bill Lowe of Arlington, TX, and Anthony and Lisa Rose of Indianapolis, IN, and plans on majoring in Psychology at Bethany.
