Bethany head football coach Jamie Cruce has been chosen to direct the defense of Ted Kessinger's American team at the Victory Sports Network's Senior Classic. Kessinger's son, Kent Kessinger, will direct the team's offense.
Kessinger also named several others to his staff who have Bethany College connections:
Tim Johnson, Defensive Line Coach; Jake Greenup, Offensive Line Coach; Rob Messenger, Wide Receivers Coach; Levi Esses, Special Teams Coordinator; and Marvin Anderson, Signal Caller/Spirit Coach.
In addition, Bethany senior Ryan Johnson, Oklahoma City, Okla., will play

under the Kessinger's and Cruce on the American team. Johnson earned KCAC second-team honors as a defensive back during the Swedes 2007 season.
This year's classic will again be held in Platte City, Mo. on April 19. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
