A distance runner from Tehachapi High School in Tehachapi, CA, Joshua Snider signed letters of intent on April 8, 2008, and became the 3rd member of the men's 2008 Cross Country recruiting class and the 4th member of 2008 Track & Field recruiting class. Snider, son of David and Suzette Snider, has decided to major in accounting.
He has participated in cross country and track & field for all four years in high school and was a captain of the cross country team for 2 years. Snider owns a personal best of 16:48 for 5K in cross country, while his personal bests on the track are 4:38 in the 1600m run and 2:09 in the 800m run.
Throughout high school, Snider also participated in soccer for all four years.
