Bethany Track and Field will have six women competing at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Nationals....

On Friday and Saturday May 9th and 10th Danielle Garman traveled to the University of Chicago to compete in a last chance Heptathlon. She had five personal best out of the seven events and broke the school record in the heptathlon. She scored 4237 points which got her a 3rd place finish and her personal best were in the 100 hurdles with a time of 16.2, the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.93, the shot put with a distance of 34'7, High jump with a jump of 1.48 meters, and the 800 meter run in a time of 2:27. 6 young lady's will be representing Bethany College at the Outdoor Track and Field Championships in St. Louis, MO on May 22, 23, and 24, and trying to improve on there National 19th place finish in Indoor. Including mutli-athlete Danielle Garman in the Heptathlon, Indoor National Champion Jessica Becker in the Shot Put and Discus, along with Seniors Anna Miller in the Discus and Hammer and Hope Stieben in the Javelin, Sophomores Amber Dunham in the Shot Put and Javelin and Michelle Baltimore in the Hammer and Discus.
