In the final 2007-2008 NAIA standings of the U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup, Bethany College earned a 47th-place finish, the highest for a school in the KCAC.

The Directors' Cup honors institutions maintaining a broad-based program, achieving success in many sports, both men's and women's.

It was developed in 1993-94 by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today as the all-sports award for Division I. The program was then expanded in 1995-96 to include Divisions II and III and the NAIA.

NAIA institutions are awarded points for the finishes of their top 12 teams, six men's and six women's. The overall champion is the institution that records the highest number of points in the NAIA division's U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings.

Bethany scored a total of 351.50 points to finish 47th in the field of 232 institutions. A full list of NAIA standings for 2007-2008 is available here on the NACDA Web site.
