Pedro Buitrago, Manizales, Caldas, Colombia, has signed a letter of intent to play golf at Bethany College for the 2008-2009 academic year.

Buitrago attended Asociación Colegio Granadino in Colombia. He was a two-time runner-up in junior nationlas, a national qualifier for the Junior World Cup, and also qualified for the South American Championship.

Buitrago has a 3.0 GPA. At Bethany he plans to study economics.

Buitrago is the son of Andrés and Luz María.
