The Swedes' men's soccer team began their season with a home opener against Greenville College.

They came out with high energy and were ready to play, but the Greenville offensive attack proved too much for Bethany as they suffered an 8-0 defeat. The squad looked to bounce back Saturday against York College. Playing their first game on the new turf field, the Swedes had a much improved performance and pushed the ball hard.  However, they lost 3-0 to the Panthers.

The Swedes will return to action with a scrimmage against Central Christian College on Wednesday, September 10th at 4 p.m. before traveling to the SAGU Tournament Friday and Saturday to battle Southwest Assemblies of God University and Dallas Christian College.
