Kristin Palmer, a junior defender from Benbrook, Texas, was named KCAC defensive player of the week for week three.
 In two matches of the week, she led the Bethany defense from center-back position to post two shutouts on the week, the team's 5th and 6th of the season.
 
In week three, the Swedes defeated Ozark Christian College 6-0 and Central Baptist College 4-0. The team is now 7-1. They next play Southwestern College at home Oct. 4, which will be the team's conference opener.
