The Bethany men's soccer team continued their conference schedule this past week.  The squad hosted Bethel College Tuesday evening before battling rival Kansas Wesleyan University at home Saturday night.  Unfortunately, the Swedes fell 5-0 to the Threshers and 9-0 to the Coyotes.

Despite being down 3-0 at the half against Bethel, Bethany stayed competitive with the Threshers as freshman James Fox had three shots on goal while senior James Pacheco, junior Hector De La Cruz, and sophomore Cody Crosby all had one shot on goal.  Bethel's offense remained strong down the stretch as they added two more goals in the second half, beating Bethany 5-0.

The Swedes looked to turn things around Saturday night against Kansas Wesleyan.  Despite high hopes, the Coyotes were just too much for the Swedes as they beat Bethany 9-0.
The Swedes will continue their season this upcoming week by traveling to Friends University on Wednesday.  Game time is set for 8 P.M.  Bethany will end the week by hosting McPherson College on Saturday night at 8 P.M.  The Swedes are 0-7 in the KCAC and 4-11-1 overall.
