The Bethany men's soccer team finished their conference schedule and season this past week.  The Swedes battled Friends University on Wednesday before hosting McPherson College Saturday for their final game of the year.

Bethany looked to come out strong against Friends University and get their first conference "W."  Friends scored two goals in the first half, but Bethany could not put together a successful offensive counter attack.  The ball did not roll the Swedes' way as they lost 2-0 to the Falcons.  Junior goalie Logan Adams had 14 saves on the day.

The Swedes returned home to their new turf field to host the McPherson Bulldogs for their final game.  After being down 1-0 early in the game, Bethany tied the game as freshman James Fox scored unassisted.  However, after an intense first half with a heated rivalry, McPherson scored two unanswered goals in the second half, going on to win 3-1.

Closing out their season, the men's squad ended 0-9 in the KCAC.  They were 4-13-1 overall, more than doubling their win total from last year.
