The Bethany College women's soccer team ended their regular season with a fifth place conference finish. The Swedes traveled to Tabor College Friday afternoon to battle Tabor College in the first round of the KCAC playoffs. However, the ball did not roll Bethany's way as they suffered a disappointing 5-0 loss.
The Blue Jays got on the board early as they scored within the first three minutes of the game. Tabor added another goal less than eight minutes later. Down at the half, the Swedes looked to come out strong in the second half of the game. However, Tabor would score three more unanswered goals and go on to beat the Swedes 5-0.
Bethany ends their season 4-4-1 in the KCAC and 11-6-2 overall. The Swedes more than doubled their win total from last season as they only won five games in 2007.
