Plans for the future? Graduating from Bethany with Physical Health and Wellness major, and have a job working with professional athlethes or kids.
Why did you choose to go to Bethany? The women's soccer program. And I like how small the classes are and how much more individual attention you can get from teachers.
What has been your favorite memory from college? I'm a junior transfer, but I attended a community college close to my home in Spokane, WA, so this is actually the first time I've been so far away from home going to school. This was a huge step in my life and probably the most exciting!
What has been your favorite memory from your career as an athlete? My freshman year in Spokane, for women's soccer we won the NWAACC championships, which was such an amazing feeling. I thought that after my last year in Washington that I wouldn't play soccer again and I almost hung up my boots, but when I found out about Bethany and the soccer program they have here and how well they treat their athlethes I definitely had to reconsider.
What drives you as an athlete? Most of all HAVING FUN!! Of course I'm very competitive but at the end of the day I know that I had fun doing what I love to do. That's where I get all my other emotions from, like the passion for soccer and just being apart of a great team is very important.
What is a talent outside of your sport that you posses? I love to snowboard! I've only been snowboarding for about three seasons so far, but it's a great hobby to have when it's cold outside. I also picked up mountain biking recently and it really gets me at peace with nature because it's truly just you and the trees. It makes you really appreciate the moment you're in with nature.
What is something very few people know about you? I love to play video games. I play on my little brother's X-Box360 and PS3. I'm really good at the car racing games!
