The addition to the Stroble-Gibson Physical Education Center is part of Bethany College's recent bonding project.  The building will include a new weight room and locker rooms as well as more offices.

According to Bethany College athletic director Jon Daniels, the addition will feature six new coaches' offices and a conference room that will also function as a film room.  There will be one locker room that will hold around twenty to twenty-five lockers.

The other part of the addition will be the new weight room.  Authorities are exploring different possibilities as to what equipment will be used to fill the new facility.

A door will be built that connects the new addition to the Stroble-Gibson Physical Education Center.  This will help provide easy access to the newly remodeled Hahn Gymnasium parking lot.   The anticipated completion is bringing both anticipation and excitement around campus.

"This fitness/weight room has been a much needed addition to our athletic department and college," stated Daniels.  "To see it near completion is a tribute to our administration and their support of athletics here at Bethany."

The addition is estimated to be completed around the end of February or the first of March.
