The downside of the two meets was that despite several athletes performing at their best for this indoor season, no new qualifiers hit the marks needed to get into nationals. Those who qualified from performances in earlier meets were sophomore Ira Autry in the long jump and triple jump, senior Jessica Becker in the shot put and the weight throw, and freshman Mollie Dahl in the shot put.
