The Bethany golf team will compete against NCAA Div. I schools at the Diet Pepsi Shocker Golf Classic. The tournament, hosted by Wichita State University, will be played April 6-7 at the Wichita Country Club.
The six-team event will consist of Kansas State, Wichita State, Iowa State, Newman University, Iowa Western Community College and Bethany College. Teams will play 36 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday on the Par 71 course.
The Swedes were set to travel to Denver April 4-6 for the Rovert Writz Invitational. Snow in Denver has cancelled that tournament.
