Senior Jessica Becker, Capitan, NM, earned women's field athlete of the week for week five.

In the week at the ACCK Championships, Becker won the shot put while hitting her personal best mark of 50-04.50. She also won the discus with a throw of 134-00, and she placed second in the hammer throw with a personal best mark of 144-03.  Becker's shot put throw broke the school record which she set in 2008.

Track and field participates in the KU Relays in Lawrence April 15-18.
