The annual football spring scrimmage has been rescheduled for Monday, April 27, 2009 at 7 p.m. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
Sunday's scrimmage was cancelled due to weather.
Head coach Jamie Cruce said the team has had a productive Spring session, considering the short time allotted for off-season practices.
"Our players have been working hard and showing signs of a greater understanding of our schemes. We are excited about several positions, but also have some areas where we need to improve," Cruce said.
The football Swedes kick off their 2009 season with a home game Sept. 12 vs. the University of Saint Mary Spires. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
