The practice round of the NAIA Men's Golf National Championships begin today at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. Round one begins Tuesday, May 19. The tournament wraps up on Friday, May 22.
Those golfers representing Bethany are Brock Bullard, sophomore, Blytheville, Ark.; Ian Ford, junior, Sioux Lookout, Canada; Jack Hiscock, freshman, Marlborough, England; Jono Painter, Sydney, Australia; and Kevin Walters, Gilbert Ariz.
Each team competes with five golfers (minimum of four) and the top four scores posted each day are counted toward the team standings. The tournament field is cut after 54 holes and reduced to the top 17 teams and 40 individuals (including ties).
TPC at Deere Run is a par-71 course built in 2000 in Silvis, Illinios. Silvis is located within the Iowa-Illinois quad-city area, located just east of Davenport, Iowa. For more information about TPC Deere Run
