Brittany Mosqueda, Oxnard, Calif., has signed a letter of intent to play softball at Bethany College for the 2009-2010 academic year.
Mosqueda played outfield at Pacifica High School where she was named Rookie of the Year in 2007. She was earned honorable mention honors is 2008. Her team went to the CIF SS Division (California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section) playoffs three of her four years. At Pacifica, Mosqueda also played soccer. She earned scholar-athlete honors all four years in both soccer and softball.
Mosqueda is the daughter of Reggie and Debbie Mosqueda. She has a 3.2 high school GPA. At Bethany she plans to study physical education teaching.
